Best practices (Dos and Don'ts)
DOs:
- Your Energy is incredibly important (make sure it shows!)
- Reference the Virtual Tour Checklist throughout filming
- Adjust your phone’s Video Settings to 4K resolution, 60 frames per second (fps) and 0.5x zoom
- Test your Microphone
- Charge your Equipment
- Make sure that the leasing agent is centered in the video
- Prepare the area being filmed
- Memorize your Scripts (do not read in front of the camera)
- Check the Weather when selecting a date to film
- Film in Landscape Mode (Horizontal)
- Film from your Phone’s Camera App and NOT the Hohem Pro app
- Optionally assign a third person who will check the video taken for quality
DON’Ts:
- Avoid unnecessary gestures/movements (i.e. hands behind the back, playing with fingernails, etc.)
- Avoid adding to or altering the equipment
- Avoid filming during inclement weather
- Avoid wearing a face mask
