To start building your tour, ensure that you have an account by signing up or signing in

How do I create a community / add a new one?

You can add a new community by selecting the “Add New Community” button on your dashboard. You will then be asked to provide information about the community such as Property Name, Address. Website URL, Type, etc.

You’ll have access to all the communities linked to your email on your https://tour.video/dashboard page.

You can either create a Category to organize the sections of your tour or select a Tour Template 

• Add a Category by selecting the “+Add Category” button at the upper right corner of your screen. You can then name the category (Introduction, Floor Plans, Courses, Services, etc.) and proceed with adding a new screen
  ‍
• Tour Template — a preset sample tour that will help guide the sequence / flow of your tour and which video you will need to upload depending on the type of tour you want to build, or your industry.
  
  Templates make it easier to build your tour since the video path / buttons and descriptions are already laid out. You will only need to replace the videos and make customizations based on your preference

Add a new Screen / Video 

1. Select the “Create New” button
2. Add a video / screen name (i.e. 2x2 Floor Plan) and Drag & Drop the video file or open your device’s file manager / file explorer to upload
3. Select “Create Screen” and wait for the new screen to appear by reloading the page
   ‍

Add a Tour Template

1. Select the "See Templates" at the upper right corner of your screen
2. Choose which industry / type of tour you want to build
3. Save Template to apply
4. Replace template videos with your own clips by selecting the screen, scroll down and upload your new video
5. Replace the video / media from the template by recording a new video, uploading directly from your device, uploading from Google Drive or by adding a video address (URL)

Adding Mini Apps / Embeds

How do I add a Mini App on my Tour?

Add web pages, tools, media content and online applications that can be inserted to your tour by copying and pasting the tool, application or AR content's website address.

1. Create a new Screen
2. Select New Iframe
3. Copy the web URL of your mini app / tool and paste to the URL box
4. Hit Create New Screen and wait for the new screen to appear by reloading the page

How do I add a Calendar?

1. Create a new Screen
2. Select New Iframe
3. Copy the URL of your calendar / website (i.e. https://calendly.com/leasemagnetsteam/30min) and paste to the URL box
4. Hit Create New Screen and wait for the new screen to appear by reloading the page
   ‍

Creating Forms

1. Create a new Screen
2. Select New Form
3. Upload a video for your form’s background
4. Add your Special, description and questions for your viewers
5. Hit Create New Screen and wait for the new screen to appear by reloading the page
   ‍

Adding Buttons / Links / Video paths

Once a new video screen is created, you can build links or video paths to other screens of the tour you’d like your viewers to be directed to or watch next.

There are 3 types of button displays that you can apply to your screen:

• Links — simple multiple choice buttons that include text accompanied by uppercase letters to indicate options. These buttons are usually used for guided videos
• Center Links — landing page buttons that use photos / gifs to highlight options. These buttons are centered and titled
• Bottom Links — similar to video suggestion displays, this horizontal array of buttons is situated at the bottom of the screen and uses photos and titles to preview the next video. This display allows videos to be played on top and are best used for tutorial series or product list pages

To add / update buttons, 

1. Select the button display type from the Screen page
2. Add the text / title of the video path
3. Select from the drop-down which screen /  video the button will be linked to
4. For Center and Bottom links, click the camera icon to upload a photo / gif
5. To update a button, click the pencil icon. Select the check icon after updating to save
6. Select Update Screen at the bottom to apply changes
