Virtual Tour Checklist (for Real Estate)

Your cheat sheet to ensure all necessary videos to complete an entire tour are recorded and shot. This document includes sample scripts to be customized as well as sample tour videos for reference. Generate a copy of your Virtual Tour Checklist here. 

Client Implementation Package (filming equipment)

Once property / delivery address is confirmed, a set of filming equipment and accessories are shipped out to ensure video quality when filming using a phone. It includes a gimbal stabilizer, microphone set, triple cold shoe mount and phone adapter / dongle

Equipment Setup Guide

We will walk you through how to set up your equipment during our implementation call. Prior to the call, we ask that you try to charge the equipment first, for easier testing. You can watch this video tutorial on how to set up your equipment and how to troubleshoot.

Device & Settings:‍

• iPhone 11 pro max or any updated model (recommended)
• 4K resolution, 60 frames per second (fps) and 0.5x zoom

How to activate the stabilizer:

1. On your iPhone, download the Hohem Pro App from App Store 
2. Enable Bluetooth and Access Location
3. Mount your phone to the stabilizer (make sure the camera is on the left side and that it's centered)
4. Turn on the Stabilizer and enable pairing inside the Hohem Pro App
5. The Hohem Pro App should have a green Bluetooth icon on the upper right - indicating that it's paired with the phone successfully

How to test the mic:

1. Take out the red cord, lavalier, transmitter, receiver and cord labeled "Phone". 
2. Plug and twist the lavalier (mic piece) to the transmitter (this looks like the walkie talkie w/ the blue led screen).
3. Plug/connect the 3 remaining accessories: red cord / phone adapter+ black cord labeled "Phone" + receiver (black oval device)
4. Connect the red cord to your iPhone
5. Power on both the transmitter and receiver (there should be small power buttons on top of each -  just press and hold for around 10 seconds, it should show blue/green led light/s. Please note, these devices might still need to be charged if they don't power on/show a different color)
6. Record a video using your phone's camera app and not through the Hohem Pro App. To make sure audio is being recorded, unplug the red cord from your phone and listen to the video. If it plays with sound, it should be good!

Type of Videos to film:

‍What are guided / walkthrough videos and how do I film one? - Guided or walkthrough videos are shots where the leasing agent is seen leading the viewer through the property as they tour. The goal is to reflect the in-person tour experience in your films.

‍What are pan shots / B-roll videos and how do I film one? - Pan shots are 5-10 second moving shots of the key sections of the property, highlighting the main areas. For the LeaseMagnets tour, you can swivel the gimbal from left to right (or vice versa), zoom in or zoom out to get a pan / B-roll. Watch how to take different pan shots here.

Uploading to Google Drive

Each community will have a personalized Google Drive to upload videos and other media to include on the Tour. Watch a video tutorial on how to upload to your folders using your phone here.

1. Install the Google Drive app from App Store or Play Store
2. Go to the Google Drive folder by logging into any Gmail account. Go to the specific folder for the video to be uploaded
3. Select the plus + icon to access your phone’s internal files / videos and select videos to be uploaded

*Note — DO NOT try to upload your videos through your email as Gmail has a 25MB media limit. Your videos will be compressed and quality/resolution will be reduced.
